"East Wind" is this name of this paper tiger. East Wind is a print of an original mixed media collage using cattlemarkers, watercolors, ash leaf, porcupine hair & quills, and partridge, Montana sharp-tail grouse, pigeon, parakeet, pheasant feathers.
I developed my own style of collage by using painted paper or recycled paintings. I cut or tear the painted paper into pieces and then assemble them into layers, often adding a variety of materials to adorn each image. Each brilliantly-colored and whimsical image tells its own story and is often a reflection of my own personal struggles and triumphs. I earned my bachelor of fine arts degree from Montana State University and currently resides in Bozeman, Montana. You can find more of my art at shirleyrobinett.com.
