Remember My Love is a print of the original mixed media collage of a mother and baby elephant. I created the original for my daughter. The materials I used to create this collage on 300# Arches watercolor paper were cattlemarkers, watercolors, gold acrylic, coconut milk latte, pressed scarlet galia flowers, flower petals & grasses from my daughter's flower bouquets, hair clippings from me & my mother, grass from the banks of the Colorado Gunnison River, and alfalfa blossoms & grasses from the Colorado family farm.

I developed my own style of collage by using painted paper or recycled paintings. I cut or tear the painted paper into pieces and then assemble them into layers, often adding a variety of materials to adorn each image. Each brilliantly-colored and whimsical image tells its own story and is often a reflection of my own personal struggles and triumphs. I earned my bachelor of fine arts degree from Montana State University and currently resides in Bozeman, Montana. You can find more of my art at shirleyrobinett.com.
